
Edwin Paul “Ted” Gale is a Partner at Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP and is located in the Tampa office. Mr. Gale is a member of the firm’s Healthcare and Medical Malpractice practice groups, as well as its Tort & Catastrophic Loss and Homeowners Associations (HOA) groups. Ted primarily handles professional liability claims brought against individual health care providers, their employers and other institutions. Mr. Gale also represents individual healthcare providers in administrative investigations and disciplinary actions. In addition, he handles general liability matters and claims made against homeowners associations.
Mr. Gale has over twenty years of experience in representing healthcare professionals, having practiced with two different boutique firms since coming to Florida in 2002. Mr. Gale spent the first years of his professional career in New Hampshire, where he focused on commercial litigation and bankruptcy, tort litigation, and worker’s compensation actions.
Mr. Gale is a graduate of Vermont Law School (now Vermont Law and Graduate School), earning his J.D. in 1989. He undertook his undergraduate education at Yale University, where he earned a B.A. in history (1983).
