Overview

Edward Storck is a Partner at Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP in its Hartford, Connecticut office. He brings years of experience defending high-exposure tort claims in Connecticut State and Federal Courts. His practice spans product liability, toxic torts, general and professional liability, premises liability, construction defect claims and aviation-related litigation.

Mr. Storck has represented a wide range of clients—from Fortune 500 companies to small local businesses—in complex litigation involving alleged asbestos exposure, including direct, environmental and take-home claims. He also handles other toxic tort matters, such as alleged Benzene exposure.

In the construction defect arena, Mr. Storck advises and defends developers, contractors and insurers on claims involving structural failures, water intrusion and code violations. His aviation litigation experience includes defending claims related to aircraft operations, maintenance and airport premises liability, among other things.

Mr. Storck has extensive experience in insurance coverage matters, offering legal opinions and strategic recommendations to insurers and initiating actions for judicial determinations of coverage. He has also assisted insurers in investigating large-loss and potentially fraudulent claims, including conducting examinations under oath and coordinating further investigative efforts.

Additionally, Mr. Storck is a member of the firm’s Appellate Advocacy Group and currently serves as the Northeast Regional Co-leader where he assists with regular roundtable sessions for the purpose of reviewing arguments and providing direction to attorneys handling appeals in the Northeast, as well as conducting moot court sessions to help further develop arguments prior to an attorney’s appearance in court.
