James Lacey is an Associate in the Columbus office at Freeman Mathis and Gary, LLP. He is a member of the Tort & Catastrophic Loss and Commercial Litigation practice sections.
James is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and received his Juris Doctor from Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University. While in law school, he was a member of the trial advocacy team, the moot court team, and the small business law clinic. In addition, James was the 2025 recipient of the Salmon P. Chase Award, which is awarded to one graduating law student each year from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law.
