Sara Correa is an Associate at Freeman Mathis & Gary, LLP and is located in the Dallas office. She is a member of the Firm’s Healthcare and Tort & Catastrophic Loss practice sections.
Sara’s practice is shaped by a multidisciplinary background in science, public health and law. She brings a strong ability to distill complex facts and legal issues with precision and insight. Before law school, Sara conducted extensive cancer research, which, together with her training in public health, informs her understanding of complex medical and scientific issues in healthcare litigation.
She has also worked with organizations in the technology, pharmaceutical and regulatory sectors, gaining experience in litigation support, regulatory compliance, intellectual property and privacy law. This diverse background provides her with a strong foundation for representing clients in high-stakes disputes across a variety of industries.
While in law school, Sara gained litigation and regulatory experience through multiple externships and competed in the USPTO Patent Trial and Appeal Board Moot Court Competition. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, her Master of Public Health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and her Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law.
