Mariam earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where she was Senior Editor of the Journal of Regulatory Compliance and Staff Editor of the Consumer Law Review. She graduated magna cum laude from Florida International University with a degree in International Relations. She is fluent in Spanish and a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US).
